Time To Review Your Facebook Profile

This week facebook has released a big change to your profile page. You may have already heard about Timeline, but what you may not know is that it is now available for everyone. Timeline gives a very different view of your profile a bit like your life story.

If you are a job seeker this is your opportunity to make sure that your profile doesn’t contain anything you would be uncomfortable with a potential employer seeing. When you upgrade your account you get the opportunity to remove stories and pictures that you no longer want on your profile. So this is the time to remove that picture of you on holiday when you have had one too many in the resort bar.

When you change to timeline, you’ll have seven days to review everything that appears on your timeline before anyone else can see it. You can also choose to publish your timeline at any time during the review period. If you decide to wait, your timeline will go live automatically after seven days. Your new timeline will replace your profile, but all your stories and photos will still be there.

To find out more and set up your timeline go to Introducing Timeline you can see how yours would look and start getting it set up.
